DealFlow Media has once again organized The PIPEs Conference 2006 to be held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan on November 7 & 8. The conference offers an in depth view of the major players in the reverse shell merger industry. If you think this is just another conference, think again. Attendees pony up $1,495.00 per person to attend this conference. Last year over 800 investment professionals were in attendance.
This year’s featured speakers include Barton Biggs, a senior partner at Morgan Stanley, who formulated Morgan’s #1 ranked research department and became the firm’s leading global strategist. In 2003 Biggs left Morgan Stanley and formed Traxis Partners which now has well over a billion dollars under its management. The second featured speaker this year is Harvey L. Pitt who served as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2001 to 2003. Pitt led the Commission’s adoption of Sarbanes Oxley and a host of new rules in response to the corporate and accounting crises generated by the excesses of the 1990s.
The two day conference includes expert panel discussions along with experts speaking on topics in the fields of structured finance, private placements and small cap stock investing. Presentations and workshops will cover legal and regulatory topics, industry trends, investment updates and perspectives on global opportunities.
Event sponsors are the “Who’s Who” of the industry. Investors can also hear presentations by over 100 companies that will be presenting at the conference and seeking financing.
