Lawrence J. Peter, author of “The Peter Principle,” once said that an economist is “an expert who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn’t happen today.” And yet, as we plan ahead for our businesses and personal lives, it’s essential we try to anticipate economic events.
So, mindful that public predictions carry some risk, here is my forecast for the global economy during the remainder of 2007.
