This entry is part 1 of 9 in the series OTCBB Shells – Buyer Beware

When purchasing an OTCBB shell there is more to consider than price alone. There are many individuals trying to sell shells to potential Buyers that are totally clueless about what they are selling.

In many instances the finder has no direct contact with the Seller of the shell. He has a list of potential shell Sellers that he has received from someone and is hawking it to anyone who will listen. In most cases this leads to a “daisy chain” of finders who are all seeking to get paid off the sale but offer little or no assistance in the sale of the shell. If you ask the finder pertinent questions about the shell they usually have to “get back to you” with the answers. That is because they have performed little or no due diligence on the shell and there is a string of people to call before they finally get to the CEO or principal of the shell to gain an answer.
